“A QUARATINE IDEA
could.be.fun was birthed during lockdown of 2020, this is also my most current project. As a creative that always worked retail, this was prime time to get back into my bag of design. Everyday I would just design something random to build my confidence on even posting my work. I thought of the idea of scarves because thats one of my favorite acessories and I’ve been typically known to wear a silk them like hendrixx in the past. The graphic that end up being the first prototypes of this dream was made by total accident, I literally was working on a graphic piece that I was gonna scrap and warped the pictures and the outcome end up being the VEGAN GROOVE print. I staurated the colors to create the BERRY GROOVE print. THE SCARF logo was inspired by wonky hippie fonts from the 70’s but a bit distorted and warped. THE Could.Be.Cat is a metaphor of me, I could be timid when it comes to showing my work or art but this project was quite opposite.Working back and forth with manufactures for month, I finally got what end up being my first piece of tangible art solo. I sold the scarves to close family and friends and a small amount online. Both scarves are currently sold out but this was a FUN project literlly. I designed and executed within months just off an idea. This project showed me to never doubt myself and just have fun with it.
